Annotation and Diagnostic Tools

Use the tools available in the toolbars to annotate images and support diagnostic activities. Not all tools are available in every workspace. Unavailable tools are grayed out.

3D and Plan tools are available only when 3D data are present. Some tools are grouped under a drop-down menu. For grouped annotation and measurement tools, the most recently used tool is shown.

Measurement accuracy depends on the image data, the used scanner hardware, its calibration and acquisition settings. The measurement cannot be more precise than the resolution of the image. DTX Studio Clinic software reports the value, rounded to one digit after the decimal point, based on user-picked points.
