The intraoral workspace allows you to inspect intraoral images on a layout, for inspecting e.g., a Full Mouth X-ray series.
Note
This workspace is only available if intraoral images are added to the diagnosis.
To open this workspace, click Intraoral on the workspace bar. Alternatively, press [F6].
At the bottom of the workspace, the thumbnail bar contains all the images that are loaded and not shown in the workspace placeholders. The images are sorted by creation date.
If the intraoral images have been acquired with DTX Studio Clinic and if the loaded tooth range matches the placeholder range, the images are automatically shown on the correct placeholder.
Click Data to add an image. Select Capture
, or Import 2D images.
Drag an image from the thumbnail bar and drop the image on a placeholder.
If the placeholder already contains an image, the images are stacked. The most recent image is on top. Click to see all the images in the stack.
To compare and show the stacked images directly in SmartLayout™, hover over stacked images and click .
To visualize a particular set of intraoral images, select an acquisition date from the acquisition dates list in the top-right corner of the workspace.
Note
When exporting the intraoral images in DICOM format, the set tooth range is saved inside the DICOM file, so the tooth numbers are recognized by third party applications.
Double-click an image to use additional workspace functionalities: add measurements and annotations, apply brightness and contrast and image filters.
To return to the initial layout overview, double-click the image again or press Esc.
Switch to another image by clicking on a thumbnail on the minimap in the overview on the SmartPanel™ Layout tab . Alternatively, use the
arrow keys.
Multiple images can be stacked in the same placeholder. Click to show all the images and click
to compare them.
To change the intraoral workspace layout or to only show media captured per template (study), click Intraoral (Layout Name) in the top-left corner.
To only show media captured per template, select View by template. By default, the most recent study is selected. Use the
arrow keys to navigate between studies.
To choose a layout, click Layouts. Alternatively, set the default templates in the Image settings preferences and use the keyboard shortcuts below:
Keyboard Shortcut | Action |
[Shift+Ctrl+F] or [Shift+Cmd+F] | Change layout to default intraoral workspace template. |
[Shift+Ctrl+C] or [Shift+Cmd+C] | Change layout to default capturing template. |
