Manage the default image settings.
To set the default image filters:
In the DTX Studio Home Settings or DTX Studio Clinic Preferences dialog, click Image settings.
From the Default image settings list, select the image type for which you want to set the default filter settings.
Note
To set custom filters for the Gamma filter, select OPG, Intraoral or Ceph in the Default image settings list. Set the Gamma filter to Manual.
Select the filters to be used by default for the selected image type and use the appearing slider to set the filter percentage.
Notes
On the sample image, the filter's effect is shown in real-time.
Click Reset to revert to the initial default values.
Click OK.
Upon performing an immediate image capture, intraoral images are automatically rotated in the correct position. To disable this:
In the DTX Studio Home Settings or DTX Studio Clinic Preferences dialog, click Image settings.
Select or deselect Apply auto-rotation in DTX Studio capture.
Click OK.
Upon importing or acquiring a 2D image, level and window values are automatically set. To enable or disable this feature:
In the DTX Studio Home Settings or DTX Studio Clinic Preferences dialog, click Image settings.
In the top-right drop-down menu, select OPG/PAN, Intraoral or Ceph.
Select or deselect Auto level window.
If Auto level window is deselected, enter custom level and window values. These values will be applied to acquired and imported images.
Click OK.
To take into account the image noise levels when applying filters:
In the DTX Studio Home Settings or DTX Studio Clinic Preferences dialog, click Image settings.
In the top-right drop-down menu, select Intraoral.
Select or deselect Compensate noise level.
Click OK.
To define the default slice thickness:
In the DTX Studio Home Settings or DTX Studio Clinic Preferences dialog, click Image settings.
In the top-right drop-down menu, select the viewer type: 3D Reslices, Panoramic or Tooth.
Select the desired default slice thickness for the selected viewer type in the drop-down menu.
If Custom is selected, any value between 0.1 and 30 mm can be used.
To set the default capturing or intraoral workspace template:
In the DTX Studio Home Settings or DTX Studio Clinic Preferences dialog, click Image settings.
In the Intraoral template section, select the Default capturing template and Default intraoral workspace template.
