Tools Preferences

Spotlight

To set the default behavior of the Spotlight tool:

In the Preferences dialog, click Tools.

Select the Spotlight mode:

Magnifying glass: To magnify a specific image area.

Image filter glass (default): To apply a filter to a specific image area.

Click OK.

Instruction Messages

By default, instruction messages (e.g. Press spacebar to activate SmartFocus™, Press Esc to go back to the layout overview) are shown on each workspace.

To show or hide it:

In the Preferences dialog, click Tools.

Select or deselect Show instruction messages.

Click OK.
