Verify the virtual occlusion

Verify the virtual occlusion once the simulation is finished.

The upper-left viewer shows the upper jaw, and the lower-left viewer the lower jaw. The 3D viewer shows the default 3D visualization.

To change the visualization in the left-hand viewers, click the drop-down arrow in the viewer's header. Then select Occlusiogram (a distance map showing the inter-arch tooth contact) or Intersection (Visualization of the intersecting jaw regions).

Note

To quickly position the virtual occlusion model according to the standard clinical views, click one of the cast icons in the bottom-left corner of the 3D viewer. The position of the occlusion is shown related to the horizontal plane of the lower jaw (and not to the natural head position).

If needed, adjust the virtual occlusion.  If you are satisfied with the result, click Finish.

Note

To edit an existing virtual occlusion, click Virtual Occlusion virtual occlusion icon again. The last page of the virtual occlusion wizard is shown, with the options to add springs, adjust the movements and grindings
