Grinding

To indicate areas in the virtual occlusion model where intersection is allowed during the simulation:

In the Virtual occlusion overview, click the Grinding tab.

Click Upper jaw or Lower jaw.

Specify if you want to remove or add regions:

Click Select if you want to indicate regions where intersection is allowed.

Click Deselect to remove previously indicated regions. To remove all indicated regions at once, click Remove all.

Tip

Use the Size slider to define the region size of areas that you are going to indicate.

Add or remove regions:

If you chose Select, click a region to indicate where the jaws are allowed to intersect. The region's color changes.

If you chose Deselect, click a region to remove it's indication. The region's color changes to the default color.

Afterwards, click Finish.
