In this step, the DICOM files are loaded in the calibration wizard.
1. Select the appropriate DICOM files in the tiled overview. If the calibration DICOM files are not yet shown in the overview, click Import DICOM folder. Navigate to the folder where the DICOM files for the calibration object are stored. Click OK to select the folder. The files are automatically loaded. If the DICOM files are on a CD, choose the top folder on the CD. All relevant data will be read into the software and all irrelevant data will be ignored automatically.
2. Once the files are loaded, the different DICOM sets and their information are shown.
The left pane contains a tiled overview of all DICOM sets that were loaded from the selected folder. Hover over a tile to show the scan date, slice increment, and number of slices. More detailed information can be displayed via the Show DICOM details icon in the Tools panel. Click a tile to select the DICOM set.
The axial viewer on the right allows you to scroll through the different slices available in the DICOM set.
3. Scroll through the different images using the slide tool or by changing the slice number at the bottom of the viewer. The level and window can also be changed. If the DICOM set is too big for conversion or when irrelevant objects are on display in the set, the DICOM set can be cropped as well.
4. Click Next to start the automatic calibration procedure.
