Crop DICOM range

A DICOM set might include DICOM files showing irrelevant data, such as the scanner plate or other objects. To exclude these unnecessary files from the conversion, crop the number of slices.

1.       Go to the Load DICOM page of one of the wizards using DICOM files (e.g. Create patient wizard or Radiographic guide wizard).

2.     Select the correct DICOM set in the tiled view.

3.     Click Crop DICOM range icon in the Tools panel in the right side bar of the wizard. The Crop DICOM scan range dialog is shown.

4.     Define the DICOM range by doing one of the following:

Drag the left and right sliders slightly towards the center to exclude the outer files of the DICOM set.

Enter the slice numbers of the first and the last slice you wish to include.

5.     Click OK.

6.     Only the slices within the set range will be taken into account to calculate and generate the model.
