Working with the Patient Menu

To open the patient menu in DTX Studio Clinic, click in the upper-left corner.

The patient's tooth chart visualizes the diagnosis overview.

Below the tooth chart, the diagnosis data are shown. Here you can organize the scans and images for the open diagnosis.

In the left pane you will find the menu options.

In the text field on the bottom of the window, type text to add a patient note (maximum 700 characters).

Menu Options

Option	Description
New	Start a new diagnosis. The 2D image data of the previously opened diagnosis, and the images that have been acquired since the last diagnosis date and time, are automatically added to the new diagnosis. The mouth model and the diagnostic findings of the previously opened diagnosis are also copied to the new diagnosis. To rename the open diagnosis, select the name of the diagnosis and type the new name.
Open	Open another existing diagnosis. If the open diagnosis has unsaved changes, you will be asked to save the unsaved changes first.
Save	Save the open diagnosis.
Help	Open the help documentation website.
Contact support	Open the contact support website.
Training videos	Open the training video website.
Keyboard shortcuts	Show the keyboard shortcuts overview.
Product tour	Open the product tour that guides you through the DTX Studio Clinic functionality.
Preferences	Set the default workspace, the performance, the image settings, the 3D viewer settings and default spotlight settings.
Close patient	Close the DTX Studio Clinic window.

Action	Description
Capture	Acquire data directly. Alternatively, click on the menu bar.
Import	Import data to the open diagnosis.
Export	Export data or patient diagnosis reports.
Share	Share a 3D presentation.
