Starting and Closing the Software
Starting the Software
The software should always be connected to the Internet. If that is not possible, a connection should be established at least once every 14 days, because otherwise your access to DTX Studio Clinic may be temporarily suspended.
To open DTX Studio Clinic:
On Windows, double-click the shortcut icon 
on the desktop or click DTX Studio in the Start menu.
On macOS, click the shortcut icon in the Finder application folder or the Dock.
In the Select your username drop-down list, select the user.
Notes
Select Keep me logged in to skip the login dialog.
When no Internet connection is available, the most recently downloaded list of usernames will be shown. Otherwise, the user list gets refreshed after every software start.
Enter your password in the field preceded by a key

If you forgot your password, click Forgot password to go to DTX Studio Go. Enter your username and click Reset password. A link will be sent to your registered e-mail address where you can reset your password.
Users and passwords are administered in DTX Studio Go, an online platform that assists you in managing accounts, sites, connections, users in the practice, orders, share data via GoShare and obtaining installation packages of your purchased software. DTX Studio Go can be launched from within the notification area.
Click Log in.

The first time a user logs in to DTX Studio Home, a website containing the Instructions for Use documents in the different available languages is displayed.
If two-factor authentication was set up on DTX Studio Go, every 30 days you will need to enter a six-digit verification code to log in.
Click 
in the bottom-left corner or click outside the menu to close it.
Switching Users
To switch the user:
Click Menu 
.
Click Log out 
.
Note
If DTX Studio Clinic or the scan module* is still open, an error message is displayed.
Select another user in the Select your username drop-down list and enter the password.
Click Log in.
Closing the Software
Make sure to close all active DTX Studio Clinic and scan module* instances.
There are different options to close the software:
Click Menu and click Close application.
Open the tray app, click 
and select Close application.
Click 
in the top-right corner of the application window.
Note
When using the button, the tray app remains available and the software remains running in the background, allowing data synchronization and faster response when reopening DTX Studio Clinic.
Press [Alt+F4] or [Cmd+Q]. Also with this option, the software remains running in the background.
Note
If DTX Studio Clinic or the scan module* is still open, the DTX Studio Clinic icon 
or the scan module icon 
is displayed in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Click the icon to go to the respective module and close it.
*Module might be licensed.
