Notification Area

The DTX Studio Clinic icon tray app icon in the notification area grants access to apps, devices, notifications and settings.

The icon reveals one of the following statuses:

Icon Description
tray default icon Connected to DTX Studio Core.
tray synchronizing icon DTX Studio Core data and local data are being synchronized.
tray warning icon There is a warning message, e.g., storage almost full, conflicting changes.
tray not connected icon There is an error message, e.g., no storage left, connection lost, device in error mode..

Click tray settings icon to change the settings, to open or to close DTX Studio Clinic.

Note

Currently, the notification area can only be accessed when not all DTX Studio Clinic windows have been closed using the Close application option. If x or the [Alt+F4] or [Option+F4] shortcut key is used to close the DTX Studio Clinic windows, the tray app remains available as long as you do not restart the computer.

Tab Description
Notifications

This tab is only available if DTX Studio Clinic and DTX Studio Home have been installed together with DTX Studio Core.

Here you will find a list of notifications about patient record changes being uploaded to DTX Studio Core.

For each updated patient, a status notification is shown. On the bottom bar, a general message appears when data is synchronizing with DTX Studio Core.

The latest 30 notifications are shown. The newest or most recently updated notifications are at the top.

DTX

Click DTX Studio Core Core icon, DTX Studio Go Go icon, Exposure report* Core icon, QuickPrescribe* or ScanCenterGo icon or a linked Quick Launch application icon to open or to go to the corresponding application.

Devices

Lists direct folders for importing third-party device images, shows network or USB-connected acquisition devices and their statuses:

green dot    Online

orange dot    Busy
red dot    Offline

tray connected   Connected via USB or TWAIN

Within each group, the devices are sorted alphabetically.

Click ellipsis to access the connected device's settings or direct folder import settings, to create a support case, or to disable unrequired devices for your workstation.

Click Sensor resolution to set the desired resolution for acquired images.

If the device is a KaVo DIAGNOcam Vision Full HD, click Automatically rotate the live feed under the Default modes tab, to automatically orient the live feed.

Note

Directional hints do not work when autorotation is on.
