Based on a request that was sent to you through the cloud service by a connection, a case can be created.
Note
If a request contains a patient name and connection identical to the patient and connection of an existing case, a dialog pops up, asking you to link it to an existing patient, or to create a new patient.
In the Requests list, select the request with status LabDesign.
Click Start request.
Check the case information and click Next.
To copy the details that were entered in DTX Studio™ Implant on the tooth chart, click Add restoration details. Adjust if necessary.
Note
Remove the adjusted restoration to be able to retrieve the originally requested restoration details.
Connections cannot be changed. If changes are required, contact the clinician to have a new LabDesign requested.
On the tooth chart, click Add restoration details.
If more than one production device was registered on DTX Studio™ Go, select the production device to be used in the Production method field. If necessary. Change the parameter set by clicking the name of the parameter set and selecting another one. If necessary, adjust if necessary the other settings.
Click Finish.
On the Design your case card, click Design to open the design module. To create a model, click Create model.
On the Case design card, click Share to share the LabDesign with the requester.
Optionally, on the Place your order card, click Start to open the order wizard.
In the Requests list, select the request with status Scan.
Click Start request.
For a scan request, check the case information and click Start scan.
Scan a dental cast, an antagonist and/or a diagnostic.
Notes
For scan cases, restorations are not shown on the scan setup.
If the scan request is not sent through the cloud service, it is possible to create a scan case.
In the Requests list, select the request with status Restoration.
Notes
Click the Attachments tab to view additional uploaded files for the case, such as clinical pictures and diagnostic scans.
Click Download attachments to download additional uploaded files for the case.
Click Start request.
Check the case information and click Next.
To copy the details that were entered in DTX Studio™ Go on the tooth chart, click Add restoration details. Adjust if necessary.

Click Finish.
On the Scan or import your model card, click Start or Scan to open the scan module. If the scans were sent together with the restoration request, click Define scans to link the imported scans with a scan object type.
On the Design your case card, click Design to open the design module or the bar module. To create a model, click Create model.
On the Place your order card, click Start to open the order wizard.
In the Requests list, select the request with status Template.
To download the assembly instructions, click Download attachments. To accept the request, click Start request.

On the assembly instructions you can find what type of sleeves is to be used.
Check the case information and click Next.
On the Design card, click Produce.
Select an export folder and click Select folder.
The .stl file for production for the template is exported to the selected folder.
Notes
It is the responsibility of the template manufacturer to ensure that the equipment used is capable of producing surgical templates suitable for guided surgery. Nobel Biocare strongly recommends that you validate the accuracy and performance of the surgical templates prior to use.
In the US and other countries, the physical surgical template for endosseous dental implant placement is a medical device. Please contact the local regulatory agency for more information regarding the regulatory status and requirements related to manufacture of these surgical templates.
In the Requests list, select the request with status TempShell.
Click Start request.
Check the case information and click Next.
Note
If the TempShell request is not sent through the cloud service, the case can be imported.
On the tooth chart, click Add restoration details.
If more than one production device was registered on DTX Studio™ Go, select the production device to be used in the Production method field. If necessary. Change the parameter set by clicking the name of the parameter set and selecting another one. Adjust if necessary the other settings. A TempShell for a multi-unit restoration can be replaced by multiple TempShells.
Click Finish.
Finalize the TempShell and share the design with the clinician.
