Importing IO Scans
To import a surface scan resulting from a dental cast or an intraoral scan:
In DTX Studio Clinic, click 
to open the patient menu.
Click Import 
and select IO Scan.
Browse to the location of the surface scan you want to import:
Select the upper or lower jaw scan model by clicking Browse and selecting the IO Scan model to import.
To add upper or lower diagnostics, upper or lower locator scans and other models, click Additional model and select the specific scan model.
Check the scan in the IO Scan viewer.
If required, change the acquisition date.
Click Next.
Adjust the IO Scan orientation if needed.
Click Finish.
If MagicAssist is enabled (on by default), the AI detection process is started to automatically set up the orientation of the patient data.
Click Skip MagicAssist to use the default setup. If needed, adjust the patient orientation.
