Importing a Surgery Plan

If the plan is ready, the provider will upload the surgery plan to the order. An e-mail will automatically be sent to the requester. A red dot on the Orders list indicates a new deliverable is available.

Go to the Orders tab and select the order with a red dot.

Click Import new data to add the surgery plan to the original patient.

Open the patient module. If there is a diagnosis with a compatible 3D scan, the surgery plan is added to that diagnosis.

Go to the 3D patient workspace to inspect the imported surgery plan.

Use the Plan tab implant icon on the SmartPanel™ to show or hide items of the surgery plan. Add the cross-sectional reslice viewer to the workspace via the Layout tab layout icon.

Notes

On the Service data tab of the patient record in the Patients list patients icon, you will find the imported surgery plan and report. Double-click the tile with the report to open it.

If importing a new surgery plan would fail, there is the possibility to import the most recent surgery plan via the Orders tab and via the order card: Click ellipsis and select Import all data. This might cause duplicate data.

If you work in a practice that has access to both DTX Studio™ Clinic and DTX Studio™ Implant, you could export the data to DTX Studio™ Implant, create the surgery plan and then import the created surgery plan in DTX Studio™ Clinic (via the More action ellipsis Import surgery plan implant icon).
