If you selected an intraoral sensor or PSP device, a template for guided acquisition is available:
Perform an immediate scan.
Select the Template tab and select your preferred template type.
In the drop-down list on top of the images, select the layout you want to use.
Select the images you want to acquire.
By default, all images are selected. Selected images are highlighted in blue.
Click a selected image again to deselect it. Select the images by clicking the images or drawing a rectangle around the images to include.
To deselect all images, click Clear selection.
To change the order in which the images will be acquired, click Edit capture order and click the placeholders in the correct order.
Note
A template can be shared with another DTX Studio™ Clinic user via the share settings.
Click Start.
Go to the device to perform the scan.
Notes
To skip an image in the template flow, click Skip. Click an empty placeholder of a skipped image to display the instructions and tooth chart of the skipped image. You can now acquire the skipped image.
To reaquire an image, hover over the preview image and click Capture again. The instructions and tooth chart for the clicked image are shown.
To rotate the acquired image, click [Alt +
] or
[Alt +
].
The tooth range information that is taken from the instructions is saved in the acquired image, so that the images are loaded on the correct placeholders in the intraoral workspace.
Click Finish to end the action.
