To export images or 3D scans of a patient record:
Select the patient record in the patients list .
Click More .
In the Data section, click Export data .
By default, no images are selected. Select the images to export. This can be done by clicking the images or drawing a rectangle around the images to include.
Notes
Tiles with a blue border (the selected images) will be exported.
Click an image with a blue border to deselect it.
To select all / deselect all images, click Select all / Deselect all.
Click and choose one of the options to filter the images on acquisition date or image type.
Click to view the image data in grid view. Click
to view the image data in list view.
Note
A DICOM set that was imported from another source than DTX Studio™ Clinic cannot be exported. The tile will be grayed out.
Click Browse and go to the desired export location. Click Select folder. Alternatively, enter the file path in the Export directory field.
Note
The set file path will be saved as the new default. The initial default location is the Documents folder.
Choose the image file format for the export:
2D image format: The default value is PNG (16-bit). Alternative formats are PNG (8-bit), JPEG (8-bit), TIFF (8-bit), TIFF (16-bit) and DICOM.
3D DICOM format: The default value is Multi-frame DICOM. The alternative format is Single-frame DICOM (Folder).
Intraoral scan file format: The default value is PLY (Colored surface model). The alternative formats are STL (Surface model) and NXA (DTX file format). A new folder is created for each exported scan file format.
The Anonymize patient check box is selected by default, hiding the patient name, patient ID and date of birth.
The images are exported to the indicated location.
