Work with DICOM Files

IPS CaseDesigner^® uses the standard DICOM format. DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) is a standard for communicating medical images. As a part of this standard, a DICOM file format is defined. For CT imaging, this file format holds the image bitmaps, typically of axial slices.
