On the Surgery Ceph tab of the General Preferences dialog, specify which cephalometric objects are to be included in the cephalometric analysis. Selected objects are included, cleared objects are excluded from the surgical cephalometric analysis.
Select a cephalometric analysis template to load a new objects list.
Select or clear the box in the group header to include or exclude the group of objects.
Select or clear the box in front of an individual object to include or exclude the object.
By default, the complete list of cephalometric objects is shown. If you want to load another list of objects:
Select a template in the Ceph analysis template drop-down list.
The new list of objects is loaded.
Notes
The selected template is kept as default, even when you restart the application.
If you already performed a cephalometric analysis with all objects, and select a cephalometric analysis template with fewer objects afterwards, then the previously indicated landmarks with corresponding measurements remain available. They are, however, no longer editable.
Select the cephalometric objects you wish to include in the analysis. More information on the different objects can be found in the annex on 3D cephalometric analysis, containing definitions and/or images of:
To automatically go to the next page when a landmark has been indicated in the wizard, select Go to next page after indicating a landmark.
Landmark points are indicated in the scene by a small point or sphere. By default, the size of these landmark points is 1.0 mm in diameter. It can be adjusted by using the Landmark point size field.
Enter the value of your choice directly in the field or use the + or - of the spinner to adjust the size (0.1 mm increment per click).
Click OK.
A message pops up, informing you that a change in the landmark point size is detected and that IPS CaseDesigner® needs to be closed for the change to take effect. Click Close now to close the software.
Restart the software.
