Dental scan manually aligned. This option might introduce small inaccuracies. Check the dental scan alignment carefully. If incorrect, make sure the corresponding points are positioned correctly. |
When the user chooses to use manual alignment for the SmartFusion™ of the dental scan and the patient model, the system will warn the user to review the alignment in detail. |
The defined points are insufficiently distributed over the dental scan. |
When the system detects that the defined points are not placed in at least two out of four of the quadrants, a warning is generated. The user is requested to adjust the corresponding points or to add a new pair of corresponding points, taking into account good distribution over the quadrants of the dental arch. Clustering should be avoided. |
Indicate at least three corresponding points. |
To initialize the SmartFusion™, the user has to indicate at least three pairs of corresponding points. As long as this minimum number has not been reached, the warning will be shown. It will not be possible to finish the wizard. |
One or more pairs of points are not corresponding. |
The system measures the distance between the points placed on the patient model and the corresponding points indicated on the dental scan. If the distance is too great, the system warns the user. The user is requested to adjust the pairs of points. |
