When too much has been erased or when artifacts create 'holes' in the patient model, it can be remedied with the Mark action. Holes can be 'filled' and erased particles may be restored.
Marking the parts to be added to the patient model can be done using a simple brush tool. When the left mouse button is pressed on CT data, the region corresponding to the clicked position is marked. This means that the red color applied to the slices is removed and these parts are added again to the Patient model.
To start marking:
1. Click Mark brush in the Erase Artifacts action. Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut [M].
2. Scroll through the CT slices and click the left mouse button to mark the patient model where needed or keep the left mouse button pressed down and drag the brush over the slices. The red color is removed in a certain sphere around the clicked position. The 'uncolored' parts are added to the patient model again.
Tip
The brush settings might not be suitable in specific cases. These settings can be changed. Find more information in the Tool settings section.
