.To keep the correct planning data at hand and synchronized when working from different locations, for example when working in a hospital as well as in a private practice or at home, NobelConnect® allows for secure online data storage and downloading. This also allows the data to be readily available to authorized parties.
1. Plan the patient's treatment according to the specific planning procedure.
2. Save and close the plan.
3. Go to the My Office module .
4. Select the patient file and click Place Online 
in the toolbar.
5. The patient's treatment plan is uploaded to NobelConnect®. View the upload status on the status bar.
6. When the upload is complete, the patient file is marked with the Online Patient icon

1. Go to the My Office module .
2. Display the list of NobelConnect® patient files which are either online patient files or shared with me 
. Click the corresponding button.
3. Select a patient file and click Open 
.
4. A copy of the planning files is downloaded from NobelConnect® and placed on your system.
Note
If the treatment plan contains products which are not installed on the computer in use, the not installed products are displayed as cylinders. To work with the actual dimensions of the planned products and obtain the best possible accuracy, the missing products should be installed on the receiving computer.
5. When planning is finished, save and close the patient.
6. The system will ask whether the changes need to be stored online.
7. Choose Save to store the changes online, and keep them available for further planning from a different location. Select Don't Save to lose the changes made.
