Segment
| Measurement accuracy depends on the image data, the used scanner hardware, its calibration and acquisition settings. The measurement cannot be more precise than the resolution of the image. DTX Studio Clinic software reports the value, rounded to one digit after the decimal point, based on user-picked points. |

On a 2D grayscale or a reslice viewer, segments can be measured.
Click the first point.
Notes
When indicating this point on an uncalibrated image, the calibration will start automatically.
If the tip or the shoulder point of an implant is clicked, the measurement will be linked to that implant. When moving the implant, the linked measurement is updated.
Click the second point or right-click to cancel.
Note
In the 3D patient, Tooth or TMJ workspaces, the second point can be indicated on a different reslice viewer or on a different slice when scrolling through the viewer.
Click the next point. Repeat this step as often as required.
Right-click to finish.
The segment measurement is shown in the viewer and added to the Visibility smart panel. A measurement can be edited by dragging the control points. Segment measurements on reslice viewers will be shown across the reslices.
Note
When an existing measurement is moved to the tip or shoulder point of an implant, it becomes a linked measurement.
