To import files and data into DTX Studio Clinic:
Drag and drop a compatible image or file or a whole folder with mixed data from the file explorer into DTX Studio Home or into the Clinic module. Alternatively, use Import option on the patient menu in the Clinic module.
On the Select data window, the data are grouped per data type. Select the data you want to add to this diagnosis by clicking the tiles with the data. Tiles with a colored border will be included. Click the following options:
| Select all | to select all the data in the list. |
| Deselect all | to deselect all the data. |
| to view the data in grid view. | |
| to view the data in list view. |
To change the acquisition date for all selected data, click Edit acquisition date (selection), then enter the date.
In grid view, you can change:
the acquisition date of individual data: hover over the tile, click More options … , select Edit acquisition date, and then enter the date.
the modality of data: hover over the tile, and in the More options … menu, select the modality.
In list view, you can change:
the modality of data: select the modality from the drop-down list.
the name of an intraoral scan file: select the file, and type the new name in the text field. By default, the name of the file is taken.
Notes
For intraoral scans the category (upper jaw, bite, diagnostics, ...) can be changed by selecting it from the list. Every intraoral scan type has its own color.
A single NXA or SF DICOM file can be imported via drag and drop in the Clinic module, but not in DTX Studio Home.
If a face scan is imported without a texture file, a notification will indicate that the texture is missing for the respective file.
When importing multiple face scans, the most recent face scan will be automatically selected for the diagnosis and displayed in the workspaces.
Import of non-encrypted .DEX files is supported (DEXIS proprietary image file format).
When importing a zip file, the content of the zip file is unpacked and shown in the Select data window.
Click Import.
The data is added to the patient record.
Notes
If you accidentally acquired or imported 2D images or (CB)CT scans for the wrong patient, there is an option to Reassign Patient Data.
If you accidentally imported an image with an incorrect modality, there is an option to Change the Image Modality.
