To view intraoral scans or face scans, click IO models on the workspace bar. Alternatively, press [F2]. Press [F2] again to toggle between the 3D patient and IO models workspace. When a face scan is available for this diagnosis, it is displayed in a separate viewer of this workspace, together with the dental scan.
Using the Viewer smart panel, you can apply a radiant, natural or plain visualization for intraoral scans, and a natural or plain visualization for face scans. The selected visualization is applied to the intraoral scans and/or the face scan in the IO models and 3D patient workspace.
Annotations and measurements remain associated with an intraoral scan. When a scan is removed and re-added to the diagnosis, the associated annotations reappear.
Notes
Only the intraoral scan and the selected face scan that were selected for this diagnosis are displayed in the different workspaces.
If 3D models have been segmented and the selected intraoral scan has been aligned with the 3D X-ray, these models are also displayed in the IO models workspace, even when the 3D models were segmented with a different intraoral scan.
