Click IO Scan on the menu bar.
Click Add/Remove teeth.
Notes
To manually adjust the detected scan range, click Edit upper scan rangeor
Edit lower scan range(depending on the setup) by using the white handles on the tooth chart. Click Save.
Missing teeth are selected by default.
Indicate the tooth positions that you want to modify:
To simultaneously extract and create a tooth, click an existing tooth position.
To just extract a tooth or create a virtual tooth, right-click a tooth to select the Create tooth or Extract tooth action.
Click Next.
Check if all teeth are correctly indicated. If needed, click Indicate teeth manually to correct the tooth positions. If both the upper and lower jaw are included, re-click Next to check the teeth on the opposite jaw.
Click Finish.
The IO scan is altered and the model is updated.
Notes
To adjust the position of the virtual tooth, select the virtual tooth in the scene. On the smart panel Virtual tooth tab, click
Translation or
Rotation and adjust the values, and then click Finish. Alternatively, click and drag on the tooth in the scene to adjust its position, and then right-click to finish. Select Lock position during recalculation to keep the virtual tooth on this position when you click
Recalculate virtual teeth and run MagicAssist again.
To show the original IO scan, click the smart panel Visibility tab. Select the altered IO scan, click
and select Original scan model. Alternatively, right-click the intraoral scan model in the workspace viewer, select IO scans and click Original scan model.
