Define TMJ area | |||
To view the temporomandibular joint area, click TMJ on the workspace bar.
If MagicAssist is disabled or skipped during the Magic Detection wizard, manually indicate the TMJ area: click on Define TMJ area. Alternatively, on the 3D tools toolbar, click Set up 3D X-ray, and then select Define TMJ area.
The TMJ workspace allows you to inspect the condyle heads and the temporomandibular joint area.
The right and the left condyle head can be compared in the right and left coronal reslice viewers and cross-sections.
On the axial viewer, drag the control points to adjust the position of the left and the right coronal viewer.
On the cross-section viewer, click the drop-down arrow and select Slice spacing, Reslice thickness, Slice height or Number of slices to arrange the cross-section viewers.
Press the + and - buttons to zoom in or zoom out.
