From DTX Studio Home it is possible to export scans and images to DTX Studio™ Implant.
DTX Studio Implant is a solution for diagnostics, dental implant treatment planning and patient communication. It can be used to support guided surgery and to provide design input for and review of dental restorative solutions. The results can be exported to be manufactured.
To establish a connection with DTX Studio Implant:
By default, the DTX Studio Implant path is set to the default installation path. If DTX Studio Implant is installed in a different location, click Browse to go to that specific location, select the .exe file, and click Open.
Note
For Windows, the default installation path is C:\Program Files. For macOS, /Application is used.
Specify where patient data should be stored when patient data needs to be manually added to the patient record in DTX Studio Implant: when a patient record already exists in DTX Studio Implant or if intraoral scans are exported to DTX Studio Implant without aligning them with the 3D X-ray.
By default, the Export location is your documents folder. To store the patient records elsewhere, click Browse to go to that specific location and click Open.
Click OK.
The DTX Studio Implant shortcut icon is added to the action pane, enabling you to launch DTX Studio Implant for the selected patient record directly from within DTX Studio Home.
