The nerve canal can be indicated on any viewer of the 3D data, but it is recommended to use the 3D panoramic workspace in single-slice mode. The offset view is only available for the 3D panoramic viewer in single-slice mode.
If selected during the MagicAssist wizard, nerve canals can be automatically detected.
To manually indicate a nerve canal:
Click Diagnose on the menu bar.
Click Nerve .
Click to place the first anchor point.
Point by point indicate the nerve canal.
Notes
Adjust the nerve annotation by moving the anchor points on the viewer.
Drag the gray slider at the right to scroll through the different offset views.
Right-click to finish.
The nerve annotation is added to the Annotaton tab.
On the Annotation tab, hover over a nerve annotation and click .
To change the anchor point's diameter, move the Diameter slider.
To edit the color, click Edit color and select another color.
To delete the annotation, click Delete. Alternatively, press the Delete key.
