Note
Please contact your local customer support to verify whether your PMS can be integrated with DTX Studio™ Clinic.
To enable PMS integration:
Open the Settings dialog.
Click PMS integration.
Select:
Enable PMS integration to allow the communication between DTX Studio™ Clinic and your PMS system. Once Enable PMS integration is selected, new configuration settings appear:
Enter the port number for OPP protocol or other PMS services. The default OPP Web Port Number is 4435 and the Other Port Number is 4429.
Choose either As preview in DTX Studio Clinic or In DTX Studio diagnose to preview the PMS images in DTX Studio™ Clinic or directly in the DTX Studio™ Clinic patient module (only from within certain PMS systems).
Enable patient creation and import to allow the use of the button in DTX Studio™ Clinic. If this option is cleared and if PMS integration is turned on, patient data can only be loaded via the PMS system.
Ignore PMS Practice ID to enable treatment of the same patient by different practices or dentists.
Now the PMS can communicate with DTX Studio™ Clinic and DTX Studio™ Core.
From within PMS, send the patient info to DTX Studio™ Clinic and start acquiring an image for this patient. If the patient record does not yet exist in DTX Studio™ Clinic, the patient record is created with the information from the PMS.
Certain PMS systems allow you to preview the PMS images in DTX Studio™ Clinic or directly in the DTX Studio™ Clinic patient module. The most recent diagnosis will be opened.
When new images are available for a patient, the image metadata and a generated thumbnail are sent to the PMS (only for certain PMS systems). A watermark is added to the generated thumbnails.
Enable or disable including image filters when exporting images, or set the default 2D image file format.
The default export mode is Filtered, meaning that images will be exported with previously applied filters. To export the original images instead, select Original.
The default 2D image file format is PNG.
