If you are connected to DTX Studio™ Core, you can choose how much space you want to provide on your hard disk used by DTX Studio™ Clinic synchronizations for local patient records. Local patient records are patient records that are open or kept available offline.
To set the maximum disk space for local patient records:
Open the Settings dialog.
Click Storage.
The current usage is shown. Select the preferred maximum disk space usage in the Maximum usage list:
5 GB (approximately 20 patients)
10 GB (approximately 40 patients)
25 GB (approximately 100 patients).
Click OK.
Note
If the current usage exceeds the maximum disk space, a warning is shown, allowing you to adjust the maximum disk space or to postpone this adjustment. If after an hour the maximum disk space has not been adjusted, you will get another warning, informing you that if you do not adjust the maximum disk space immediately, the system will clean up the locally stored patient records.
Locally stored patient records that have not been modified within the last two years are automatically removed locally. These patient records remain available on DTX Studio™ Core.
To free up disk space, other locally stored patient records are also removed. The locally stored patient records that have been unchanged for the longest time, without the status available offline, are removed first. Then the locally stored patient records with the status offline available are removed. Locally stored patient records are removed until the set disk space is no longer exceeded. The locally removed patient records will remain available on DTX Studio™ Core and will be synchronized into DTX Studio™ Clinic once the patient is opened again.
