Clinical Pictures Workspace

To open this workspace, click Clinical Pictures on the workspace bar. Alternatively, press [F8].

Note

This workspace is only available if clinical pictures are added to the diagnosis.

On the clinical pictures workspace, placeholders for viewing the imported clinical pictures for this patient are available.

At the bottom of the workspace, the thumbnail bar contains all the images that are loaded and not shown in the workspace placeholders. The images are sorted by creation date. Double-click the image to maximize it. Press the right arrow or left arrow button to navigate to the next or the previous image. Double-click the image again to restore it down. Click Data plus sign to add an image. Select Capture camera, or Import clinical picture picture icon.

Drag an image from the thumbnail bar and drop the image on a placeholder. If the placeholder already contains an image, this image is replaced by the new image and the old image is readded to the thumbnail bar. To visualize a particular set of clinical pictures, select an acquisition date from the acquisition dates list in the upper-right corner of the workspace.

Maximizing/Restoring Down an Image

Double-click an image, or hover over an image on a placeholder and click maximize maximize icon, or double-click the image on

the placeholder to maximize a viewer.  Press the right arrow or left arrow button to navigate to the next or the previous image. On an enlarged black-and-white image, options are available to add measurements and annotations, to apply brightness and contrast and image filters.

To scale down the image to its normal size again, double-click the image or click or clinicial picture icon Clinical Pictures (Maximized) and select Restore down. Alternatively, press [Ctrl+M], [Cmd+M] or press [Esc].

Clinical Pictures Workspace Layout

To change the workspace layout, click clinicial picture icon Clinical Pictures (Layout Name) in the upper-left corner and select Layouts and then Clinical pictures. Choose one of the following layouts:

Overview 3 x 3 placeholders
Comparison 1 x 2 placeholders (e.g., pre-op and post-op)

All clinical pictures are available in all layouts.
