Patient Record

Select a patient record in the patients list patient icon to see its details in the right pane.

Use the buttons on the action pane at the top for the following actions:

Patient Data

On the Patient data tab of the details pane, every available image of the patient is represented by a thumbnail preview image and its acquisition date and time. '(#)' indicates how many images are stored for this patient.

Drag and drop images on the patient data field to add them to the patient record. Indicate the data type. Click Import.

To filter the patient data on acquisition date or image type, click  and choose one of the options.

Click grid view icon to view the image data in grid view. Click menu icon to view the image data per acquisition date.

The DTX Studio™ Core image data that are not yet downloaded to your computer, will appear as gray tiles. On these tiles acquisition date and time are displayed, as well as the image type.

Image Viewer

For 2D images and intraoral scans, click the thumbnail tile or hover over the tile and click the maximize icon maximize icon to open the image viewer. Use the following options:

  or  Navigate to the next or the previous 2D image or intraoral scan on the patient data tab.
  Close the image viewer.
2D images
  For 2D images you can use the same navigation shortcuts as in the diagnose module.
  rotate left or rotate right Temporarily rotate the image.
  reset zoom Reset the zoom.
  level window Adjust the level and window (for a grayscale image) or brightness and contrast (for a color image) by dragging on the viewer. Right-click to finish. 
Note: The level window values are saved on DTX Studio™ Core and become the new default values for this image (if connected to DTX Studio™ Core).
  View in Diagnose diagnose icon To view the 2D image in the diagnose module. The most recent diagnosis that contains the image will be opened. If no diagnoses are available with that image, the image is added to the most recent diagnosis.
  ellipsis Choose to change the modality, reassign or delete the image.
Intraoral scans
  For intraoral scans you can use the same navigation shortcuts as in the ioscan module.
  reset view Reset the view.
  Open a copy in ioscan ios icon To view the image in the intraoral scanning module ("ioscan").
  ellipsis Choose to export or delete the scan.

For 3D data, hover the thumbnail tile, click ellipsis and select View in Diagnose to view the data in the diagnose module.

Image Administration

If you accidentally imported an image with an incorrect modality (a cephalogram, an OPG or an intraoral image), hover over the thumbnail of the image, click ellipsis and select Change modality. Select the correct modality from the drop-down list and click Change modality. A message is shown when the image is already linked to a diagnosis to warn you that annotated measurements on the image will be removed.

If you accidentally captured or imported a 2D image for the wrong patient, hover over the thumbnail of the image, click ellipsis and select Reassign. Enter the patient name of the correct patient and click Reassign. The image will be moved to the selected patient.

To delete an image, hover over the thumbnail of the image, click ellipsis and select Delete.  

Scan Requests

On the Scan Requests tab, the scan requests for the patient are listed. '(#)' indicates how many scan requests are stored for this patient. This tab is only available if DTX Studio™ Clinic was installed together with DTX Studio™ Core.
