On the Splint tab of the General Preferences dialog, specify whether it should be possible to add labels to surgical splints.
To be able to add a removable label between the molars of a splint, select Removable label. Then choose to include this label on the Intermediate Splint and/or Final Splint.
To be able to emboss a tag on the splint - an 'I' on the intermediate splint and/or an 'F' on the final splint - select Tag on splint. Then choose to include the tag on the (I) Intermediate Splint and/or the (F) Final Splint.
To increase or decrease the space between the splint and the teeth, change the Splint offset using the + and - buttons. The default splint offset is 0.2 mm.
