Export the Surgical Splint File for Local Production

Locally-produced surgical splints must be fabricated using validated processes and appropriate materials according to the manufacturer’s instructions for use. Optimal fit should be verified prior to surgery.
In some countries the surgical splint may be considered a medical device. Please contact your local regulatory agency for information regarding the regulatory states and requirements related to manufacture of these surgical splints.
To export the surgical splint file:
In the 
Home menu, click 
Export for local production.
All splints available in the case are shown. Select the desired splint(s).
Note
If you wish to anonymize the files, remove the name here and add a different identification in the File name field. The part behind the file name field cannot be changed. It is composed of a suffix indicating the selected surgery type and a suffix indicating the surgical sequence of the splint(s).
Enter the path name, or click Browse, and Select Folder to set the appropriate location to export the file to. By default, the splint order file will be stored in the folder where the open case is stored.
Read the text in the Liability agreement box and select the check box.
Click Export.
