Measure the distance between two points on the model, both in 2D and 3D.
Click Distance on the Diagnose tab.
Click the model or reslice to indicate the first point.
Click to indicate a second point. The distance between the two clicked points is shown on the model and in the Diagnose smart panel, where you can show or hide the measurement or pin it at the top of the list.
Note
In 2D, the measurement is only shown if both the start and end point of the measurement are positioned on the same reslice.
Distance measurements can be either static or dynamic. A point placed on a volume rendered model is a static point, displayed in gray. A point placed on a surgical model, is a dynamic point, displayed in blue. It will remain attached to its position on the bone. When bone fragments are moved during a surgery planning, affecting the position of a specific point in a measurement, the distance measurements will be updated accordingly.
Show or hide distance measurements using the visibility editor or the pop-up menu.
To hide a measurement:
Right-click the measurement.
Choose Hide from the right-click menu.
Alternatively, use the visibility editor in the Diagnose smart panel. The measurement is hidden. To display it again, use the visibility editor icons in the Diagnose smart panel.
To delete the measurement:
Right-click the measurement.
Choose Delete from the right-click menu.
