Trim a model
Use the trim functionality to remove unnecessary model artefacts and regions. In case of occlusion scans, it increases the chances of a successful alignment with other layers. A trimmed skin model improves the visual representation in the Diagnose overview. The trim action is performed on the front surface and any other underlying surfaces.
Use the Brush size slider to set the brush size.
To trim a single region, click it.
To trim large regions at once: click, hold down the mouse button and drag over the areas that you want to trim. Hold down the shift key simultaneously to trim straight lines.
Undo or redo a trim action by clicking

. Alternatively, press [Ctrl+Z] or [Cmd+Z] to undo, and [Ctrl+Y] or [Cmd+Y] to redo.
