Dental scan presets

Isovalue

The bone threshold is based on the catalog and can be changed when creating the patient model. For plaster models this is a good option. If the clinician uses a different material, for example 3D printed dental casts, the material does not match the isovalue typical for bone. In that case a different value can be picked.

Select Default Bone Treshold Isovalue to make the dental scan isovalue equal to the bone threshold value. If you do not wish to use the bone threshold isovalue as the value to create the dental scan, set a specific value:

Select Preset Isovalue.

Enter the value in the input field. Alternatively, use the + and - icons to determine the appropriate value.

Click OK.
