Change the 3D viewer background

Use the default 3D viewer background, replace it with a custom color, or use a background image. To do so, click 3D Viewer in the Visualization group on the General Preferences dialog.

Change the background color

To change the background color to white, select White in the Viewer background group. To change the background color to another color:

Select Custom Color.

Click Select Color.

Pick a color from the Colors dialog or create a new one and click OK to close the dialog.

Click OK.

Use a background image

Select Image.

Click Select Image, browse to the image to be used, and confirm the selection. Alternatively, enter the path to the image location in the corresponding field.

Click OK.

Reset default background

To reset the default 3D viewer background, select Default.
