Manage user accounts

Within a practice, different users have specific authorities or permissions to perform tasks. Take the following steps to manage the user accounts of practice members and their corresponding permissions:

1.       Click the DTX Studio Implant tab in the My Office module.

2.     Select Manage Account.

3.     The Manage your practice table on the Practice users tab of the Manage dialog shows the list of all available users within the practice.

4.     From the Allow to... drop-down list box, select whether a particular user is allowed to view permissions or if editing permissions is allowed as well.

5.     Click the Approve and/or Order Products check boxes to indicate whether or not the user is allowed to approve a plan and/or to order products.

Permissions

All users in the practice can work with patients and/or create a plan. The permissions to be set for each user individually include the authority to view and/or edit permissions, the approval of planning scenarios, and ordering products.

Users for whom the Allow to... box is set to View permissions, are not allowed to edit permissions. They will be able to check whether other users can approve planning scenarios or order products, but the check boxes are shown in a disabled mode. They cannot make any changes to these permissions.

Users for whom the Allow to... box is set to Edit permissions, can edit permissions for other users. They can select or clear the boxes for approval and ordering products and determine whether a user can view or edit permissions.
