What is a good reslice curve?

An ideal reslice curve guides the cross-sectional reslice along a strict 90-degree angle through the prosthetic crowns, to assess the truly available anatomic structures below this point.

On an occlusal view, the ideal reslice curve connects the center of all prosthetic teeth and will not rotate the cross-sectional reslice view curve along its path. If it rotated, it may mislead the user regarding the availability of bone or other structures in the bucco-oral perspective.
