What are the different viewers in the workspace?

The main purpose of the 2D viewer is to visualize 2D image data. Beside visualization it also houses functionalities for user interaction (zooming, scaling, etc.) and image filtering.

The 3D viewer shows a general overview of the 3D scene which consists of DICOM data merged with the dental scan. In the 2D viewer, the user sees a radiographic cross-section view of this data

The planning environment visualizes surface models of all planning objects such as the patient model and/or the radiographic guide, cross-sectional reslice, implants, anchor pins and abutments. Visualizing all of these objects together results in overlapping objects, and important features may be hidden.

To define a plan for a patient, it is important to only see the objects of interest during a planning stage. Therefore, the DTX Studio™ Implant Planning module allows the user to populate the workspace with only the objects of interest. The visibility editor is the key.
