When certain safety margins are violated during planning, warnings are triggered. You can decide to enable or disable these warnings, and you can set the minimal distance values for both nerve-implant and tooth-implant warnings.
1. Select the Planning > Warnings tab in the Preferences dialog.
2. Set the preferences according to your wishes.
Note
The procedures for the different warnings are the same. Therefore, a general approach is taken for the different warnings.
To make sure the warning is triggered and shown when specific rules are violated, Enable Warning should be selected. If the option is not selected, click it to show the warnings during planning. The default distance is set to 1.5 mm. It can be changed in the Minimal distance field. Enter the appropriate value - ranging from 1.5 up to and including 6.0 - directly in the field or use the slider to set a proper value.
To disable the warning, clear Enable Warning by clicking it. The Minimal Distance field is disabled.
Note
When a warning is disabled, a caution note will appear in the warning overview, informing you about the disabled warnings.
To reset the default warning values, click Reset to Default of the specific warning. The value is reset to the default value of 1.5 mm and enabled.
