The surgical template helps you perform surgery as planned. When finalizing the plan, create a virtual surgical template, which is a preview of what you will receive.
Notes
The surgical template can only be created when a dental scan or a radiographic guide is added to the patient model. In addition, at least one implant must be planned with a surgery type other than 'freehand'.
In the US, and in some other markets, the physical surgical template for endosseous dental implant placement is a medical device. Please contact the local regulatory agency for more information regarding the regulatory status and requirements related to manufacture of these surgical templates.
