SmartFusion™ is the calculation method used to automatically align the patient model and the dental scan. SmartFusion™ is especially created, and used, for partially edentulous patients. When a patient is completely edentulous or almost edentulous, utilizing SmartFusion™ is not recommended.
Note
If a patient has braces or brackets, these braces or brackets should be present in both the impression and the (CB)CT scan.
