Open Export for Use in Third-party Software

Use the exported files in a third-party application, and see all planned objects and treatment objects in the correct positions. To export the treatment plan for visualization in third-party software products:

Go to the Planning module.

Click Open export in the Communicate group on the Finalize tab.

Select the folder to store the treatment plan. In this destination folder a subfolder is created, containing an .xml file with information about the exported scans, as well as .ply files of the necessary planned and treatment objects.

Choose to anonymize the patient data or not by selecting the corresponding option or leaving it unselected.

Click Export. If you chose not to anonymize the patient data, a legal disclaimer pops up, asking for your confirmation that you have the patient's approval to share the data. Click I Agree to continue.

A message is shown confirming a successful saving as well as the location where the files are saved. Click OK to close it.

Note

All planned and treatment objects are exported according to the DICOM image coordinate system.
