If a patient record is opened in the Clinic module, a lock icon is displayed in front of the patient name in the patient list. The name of the computer and the user that opened the patient record is displayed under the patient name.
To unlock the patient record that is opened by yourself, close the Clinic module.
If the patient record is opened by another user on a different workstation, it is recommended to open the patient record in read-only mode: Click Open patient and select Open read-only.
To forcefully unlock a patient record:
Select the locked patient record in the patient list.
Click More and select
Force unlock.

Alternatively, click Open patient. On the error message, click More options and select Force unlock.
This action should be used with caution. Data for this patient might get lost.
The patient is opened, and you can make your changes.
As soon as the other user saves or closes this patient record, the application will check whether the changes conflict. If conflicting changes are found, an error message appears. Click Keep my changes to save the changes. Otherwise, click Discard my changes.
