Importing Face Scans
When face scans are included in a surgery plan, they are imported as well. To import face scans directly in the Clinic module:
In the Clinic module, click 
to open the patient menu.
Click 
Import and select Face scan.
Select a face scan to import.
Note
It is possible to import a face scan without texture.
Click Open.
If needed, adjust the Brightness and Contrast.
Click Done.
The face scan is added.
The 3D face scan is shown on all 3D viewers.
When there is no (CB)CT data available, the face scan is shown in the 3D patient workspace.
Exporting Face Scans
To export a face scan:
In the Clinic module, select the face scan in the scene.
Right-click and choose Export.
The face scan is exported to the directory that is set in the export settings.
Note
The face scan is exported in the same coordinate system as the dental scan, in order to be aligned correctly when using the face scan along with the files for exocad.
Click Show in file browser to go directly to the export folder, where you will find the face scan (.obj) together with the files for the material (.mt) and texture (.png).
