Create a Report

To create a report or a template-based patient letter:

Select a report template.

To use a custom template that is not listed, click Select custom template, browse to the template file, and click Open.

Select the time range for the Images to include in the report.

Click Export report.

The report is exported in editable .odt format and opens automatically in your default word processor, such as Microsoft Office, LibreOffice, or OpenOffice Writer.

Note

When you export a Findings report, only findings that have an assigned tooth number are included. This applies to both manually added findings and approved focus areas.

Make any changes, if needed.

Save the report.

Note

In the report settings you can specify: where reports and screenshots are stored, and where custom report templates are located.

Create Custom Report Templates

You can create custom report templates in a word processor, such as Microsoft Word, LibreOffice Writer, or OpenOffice Writer. 

Use the tags listed below as placeholders for patient information. During report generation, the tags are automatically replaced with the corresponding patient data. 

To create a custom template, we recommend starting with an existing template. A sample template that contains all available tags is available at: Report Template Example. 

Translate Custom Report Templates

You can translate tag labels into your preferred language. In the list below, translatable tag labels are shown in green. 

To translate a tag label, replace the text inside the square brackets with the translated text. During report generation, the translated label is displayed in the generated report while the corresponding patient data is inserted automatically.
