To measure the bone level in an intraoral X-ray:
Click two points to add a calibration reference measurement.
Note
Right-click or click outside the workspace to cancel.
After the calibration of the image, the bone level measurements will be displayed on both the distal and mesial sides of the teeth.
The measurements are shown in the viewer and added to the Visibility smart panel, where they are grouped per image. On the image, the label with the value can be moved by dragging the label. To edit the calibration, click and drag the start or endpoint of the calibration measurement.
Bone level values will be color-coded on the image as follows:
Green: 1-3 mm
Yellow: 4-5 mm
Orange: 5 mm and above.
When there are two or more images with bone level measurements for the same teeth, the smart panel will show the comparison between the bone levels. The most recent image will have reference values.
