To align a face scan with an intraoral scan:
Indicate at least three corresponding points on the intraoral scan and the face scan, and then click Next.
Notes
If another face scan has already been aligned with the intraoral scan, you have the option to display this previously aligned face scan. This option allows you to indicate corresponding points on both face scans. Additionally, you can display other intraoral scan objects in the intraoral scan viewer, such as diagnostics. This allows you to use an alignment object to indicate corresponding points.
To undo or redo the last point, click Undo last point or Redo last point.
To start all over, click Reindicate points.
The face scan is displayed as transparent to facilitate checking its alignment with the intraoral scan. Carefully review the alignment. To achieve a more accurate alignment, go back to the previous page to indicate additional points. If the alignment is okay, click Finish.
Notes
Now the face scan is positioned in the intraoral scan reference frame.
The face scan tile on the patient menu will display a dental scan icon (), indicating that the face scan is aligned with the intraoral scan.
To adjust the position of a face scan, use the Adjust smart panel, or select Edit position in the right-click menu.
